Josh Laddin
I was born in Brooklyn, NY, and after growing up in Queens and Long Island, I’ve spent the past 30 years in sunny South Florida. From a young age, I knew I wanted to run my own business and do something creative. At 17, I found my start at a local florist in Bayside, Queens, and that “job” became the beginning of a 30-year career in flowers and business ownership. I learned the trade from the ground up, worked as a designer at several New York florists, and later moved to Florida in 1990. After two years working with top florists in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, I opened Exceptional Flowers and Gifts in 1992 with support from my parents. Since then, my team and I have been proudly creating beautiful, modern floral designs with exceptional service, value, and heart. — Josh Laddin, Owner and Florist at Exceptional Flowers of Deerfield

Frequently Asked Questions - FAQs
Are the flower arrangements on your site real or AI?
We believe you should know exactly what you're ordering. The majority of the floral arrangements featured on our website are actual arrangements designed and created by our talented team in our shop. To showcase our flowers in the best possible way, we use modern AI photography technology to enhance the finished images and create attractive staging backgrounds. The AI is used to improve the presentation of the photograph—not to create the floral arrangement itself. What you see is a real floral design, made by us, with the photography professionally enhanced to give you a beautiful idea of how your arrangement will look. Because every arrangement is handcrafted, individual flowers, colors, and details may vary slightly depending on seasonal availability. We always strive to create something beautiful that captures the spirit and quality of the arrangement you selected. Real flowers. Real designs. Made by us. Beautifully presented.
